Losing hair can be quite disturbing to most people, and if the loss is severe, then it could even create a dent on one’s confidence. There are several types of hair losses and each type will have a different solution. The very first step to stopping or at least reducing a particular kind of hair loss is by identifying it.

Hair loss could be caused by simple aspects such as changing weather, to factors more complex such as lack of protein in one’s diet. Here is a look at some of the most prominent causes of hair loss and the easiest solutions:

The Problem The Solution
Breakage is one of the most common problems and almost every individual seems to be facing the same this condition could be caused due to several factors including, tying hair tightly, using strong chemicals and even brushing roughly. While the most obvious solution would be to treat your hair more gently, there are several deep conditioners that can be used. Once you have adjudged your type of hair, you can choose a conditioner accordingly.
If you have dry and brittle strands of hair, chances are that your hair lacks moisture. This dryness could be caused due to either the weather or unhealthy hair habits. There are plenty of nourishing oils, which can be used on a regular basis.Irrespective of the weather, oils canbe used and then washed off in the right manner. In addition, there are numerous creams, which can be left in the hair overnight, allowing them to soak in the moisture.
With a rise in salon treatments, a lot of people are observing damage caused due to heat. This kind of damage is more obvious in people who make regular usageof hot irons, curling rods and blow dryers. The heat causes the hair to lose its protective structure, hence leading to breakage. There are several hydrating creams that are available over the counter. These are great choices to lock in the moisture and that can effectively create a barrier between your hair and the heat. It is also important that when you are using heat on your hair, you spread it out evenly and not apply heat repeatedly on the same spot.
One of the most common problems faced, especially by women, is that of split ends. The excessive usage of styling tools has often been seen as one of the most common causes. In addition, adding highlights to hair and even not conditioning your hair with the proper products can cause hair ends to split. As is obvious from the cause, using a proper conditioner would be the first stepto ensuring the reduction of split ends. It is important to have the split ends trimmed off, as and when possible. It has also been found that protein based treatments can work towards reducing split ends.
