That’s exactly what took place at the 9th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Asian Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons (AAHRS), held in Bangkok, Thailand, from July 4 to 6, 2025.

This prestigious event brought together top hair transplant surgeons, researchers, and educators from across Asia and beyond. The conference was officially inaugurated by Dr.Kapil Dua, our Chairman and Chief Hair Transplant Surgeon at AK Clinics, who led the event as the standing President of AAHRS, proudly representing India on this global platform.

The three-day scientific meeting featured a dynamic mix of panel discussions, clinical presentations, and live surgical workshops, all focused on advancing the safety, science, and ethics of hair restoration. Topics covered included modern FUE techniques, complication management, and emerging regenerative therapies like PRP and exosomes.

As President of AAHRS, Dr.Kapil Dua played a key role throughout the event. He moderated a high-level panel on Hairline Design, where international experts shared insights on natural aesthetics and long-term planning. He also delivered a dedicated session on managing emergencies in hair restoration, offering practical, real-world guidance to fellow surgeons – a session that was especially appreciated for its relevance and clarity.

The event concluded with a live surgery workshop, where participants observed advanced procedures performed by leading surgeons, reinforcing AAHRS’s mission of hands-on learning and global knowledge exchange.
