Ludhiana based doctors Dr Kapil Dua & Dr Aman Dua from AK Clinics attended the HAIRCON 2015 as a faculty held at Lonavala, Pune recently. HAIRCON is the annual scientific meeting of Association of Hair Restoration Surgeons of India (AHRS India).

Dr Kapil Dua, President Elect of AHRS India, delivered sessions like complications in hair transplant, controversies in hair transplant and do body hair transplants work ? He was also part of the workshop on Hair Transplant. This conference was attended by around 300 hair transplant surgeons from across the country and some neighboring countries. The most eminent doctors have been invited from across the globe to share their knowledge & experience.

Dr Dua said that FUE is now a recognized modality of treatment for genetic hair loss and is the most effective technique. But at the same time he cautioned the young doctors not to indulge in any malpractices as that are not good for their careers.

Dr Aman Dua demonstrated the live surgery along with other eminent doctors from AHRS India. She also delivered sessions on many crucial subjects like role of nutrition in hair loss, FUE Hair Transplant and chaired session on Adjuvant therapies.
