Que: Around 8 months back, I had an FUE procedure, wherein 3400 hair follicles were transplanted, but I am not at all satisfied with the results. Neither does my hair look thick, nor does it look dense. Will the condition improve or will I need another procedure?

Ans: In most cases, about 75% of the transplanted hair grows back within the first 6 to 8 months, but in certain cases, the hair regrowth does not start till later. In these cases, the results start to become visible only after 18 months. If you feel that the results of the transplant are not in accordance to what you had expected, it would be a good idea to meet your doctor and get it clarified.
